In order to participate at the Ontario 55+ Winter Games you will need to be a member of OSGA 55+ and qualify at local District Games in your Region of Ontario.  For more information on how to become a member please contact OSGA 55+.

Non-participants who are coming to the Games, such as spouses, are required to register with their District Coordinator through the participant registration process.  No registrations will be accepted outside of the OSGA 55+ process.


Please note: All accommodations bookings and room assignments are confirmed through the Games Organizing Committee ONLY. Accommodations will not take bookings directly from participants. You will be notified by the Games Organizing Committee of your accommodation location and room number.

As the Ontario 55+ Winter Games are a three-day affair, competitors, VIPs and other non-participants will be staying at a number of hotels in Huntsville and the surrounding area for two nights with the option to add a night at the end or beginning of the Games.

Hotels are assigned based on the sport that participants are competing in. All hotels are accessible and have met our high standards for quality and cleanliness. Transportation to and from the hotels is also provided by the Games.

Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony will take place in Huntsville on Tuesday, March 5th, 2019. Details to come at a later date

Middle Night

Middle Night Entertainment will occur on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019. Details to come at a later date.

Huntsville is only a few hours’ drive from several major Ontario cities.

From Toronto
215 km north via the Highway 400/11 corridor.
From North Bay
130 km south via Highway 11.
From Ottawa
350 km west via Highway 60 & 417.
